Expert Singing Tuition

Humans have been singing for thousands of years, and I aim to encourage each student to find their voice. I combine solid vocal technique training with years of experience in professional singing to foster an organic love of singing in every student, whatever their preferred style. I also help prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity and Rockschool exams, as well as choral scholarship auditions.

Grade 5 Theory Support

ABRSM Grade 5 Theory is an essential step for developing musicians, but can appear a large hurdle. I use my extensive musical knowledge to break down topics from chords to cadences, helping students understand them rather than telling them what to write. I also link theory to actual musical practice to keep students engaged with their learning.

Curricular Music

I offer academic and practical support for GCSE, A-level, and general music studies. My lessons are designed to strengthen theory, listening, and composition skills, as well as broader musical understanding, to give students a strong foundation for self-expression. In short, I help students approach music as both a creative and intellectual discipline.

Music at University

For students wanting to pursue music beyond A-level, I use my knowledge and experience of the admissions process for top UK universities, including Oxford, to support students in preparing personal statements and written work. I also mentor students at university who are struggling with written work, stylistic composition, or more general academic concerns.
